- Please choose your event category carefully. Confirmed registrations are non-transferable and cannot be modified. Provide a phone number and email ID that you can access regularly, as these will be our primary means of communication leading up to the event.
- The minimum age for participation is 16 years for the 21 KM run, 12 years for the 10 KM run, 10 years for the 5 KM run, and 8 years for the 3 KM run. If registering on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent/guardian and that the child has your permission to participate. All event rules will apply to the minor as if they were an adult.

- If you use email services that filter or block messages from unknown addresses, please add info@ekalrun.in and info@brandcircusevents.com to your address list to ensure you receive our communications.
- Regular updates will be sent to the mobile number provided during registration. These messages should not be treated as spam, and no action should be taken against our bulk SMS provider.
- Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers will be considered received by the participant.
- Please fill out only the necessary fields for mailing purposes. Avoid redundant data in multiple fields (e.g., city, province, country) to ensure smooth communication.
- You acknowledge that long-distance running is an extreme sport and can be physically demanding. You take full responsibility for your participation in the Ekal Run and do not hold the organizing committee or its members liable for any injury or accident.
- You are advised to consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability for participating in the event.
- You assume all risks associated with the event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions (e.g., high heat or humidity), traffic, road conditions, and other risks inherent to public events.
- You agree that Ekal Run & Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, death, damage, illness, or injury resulting from your participation in the event.
- You agree to follow instructions provided by the organizers, medical staff, or volunteers for your safety and health. You also agree to stop running if instructed to do so.
- You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during the event may be used for promotional purposes.
- You acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be stored and used by Ekal Run or its partners for event organization, promotion, administration, and statistical purposes.
- In case of adverse weather conditions, major incidents, or restrictions by authorities, the organizers reserve the right to stop, cancel, or postpone the event. If the event is postponed, your registration fee will be adjusted for the new date.
- Confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons.
- Participants are advised to leave the course after the cut-off time for safety and traffic regulation purposes.
- No refunds will be provided if you are unable to participate on the event day.
- Participants must personally collect their running bibs. Bibs can only be collected in absentia with written consent from the registered participant.
- Please share your WhatsApp number for event-related updates and communication.
- Race day images will be visually screened. Participants found without their assigned running BIB will be disqualified.
- The rights and benefits of participation are non-transferable and apply only to the registered participant.
- All prize money awarded is subject to applicable taxes and deductions in accordance with the prevailing provisions of the Indian Income Tax Act. The organizer reserves the right to deduct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) at the prescribed rate from the gross prize amount. The recipient shall be solely responsible for complying with any further tax obligations, and the organizer will not be liable for any tax-related issues, penalties, or liabilities arising from the receipt of the prize money.
- Participants must complete the stated age to qualify for the respective winner age category.
For example :
- If a participant is 54 years and 6 months on the event day, they will be considered in the 44 to 54 years category as they have not completed 54 years and 12 months. If a participant is 55 years or older on the event day (even by one day), they will be placed in the 55 years and above category.
- Category 12-24 years means between 12 years to 24 years & 364 days. Then the next category is 25-34 years means between 25 years to 34 years & 364 days and likewise.
- Surat City residents eligible for the Surat Category winners (Where Applicable based Surat Municipal Corporation)
- Runners who secure a podium finish in the Surat prize money category are required to present their Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, or a recent utility bill with a Surat address and any other necessary documents for verification. The final results will be declared only after the verification of these documents.
- If a participant has been residing in Surat on rent for the past year, they may not be considered a bona fide resident of Surat for the purposes of prize eligibility in the Surat category.
- Runners who exchange their race bib or bib tag with others will be disqualified from the competition. Such participants will forfeit their timing records and any prize money(where applicable)
- Any participant found using fraudulent documents will be disqualified.
